My Reboot Story

In January I started ketones and in March I did my first ever Keto Reboot! My transformation picture below is actually old now. I’ve personally lost over 30lbs. While I’m not trying to lose major weight anymore I am trying to stick to good habits and stay healthy, not go back to my old way of eating and thinking about overall health.

The Keto Reboots have done a few things for me:
1. Taught me about my relationship with food (MAJOR)
2. Removed Cravings
3. Broken Plateaus
4. Taught me about my own self disciple and control
5. Burned stored fat
6. Improved my skin (both breakouts & elasticity)
7. Shown me my strengths & weaknesses
8. Removed inflammation
9. Healed my digestive system
10. Gave me the confidence to charge after my goals

So I guess that’s more than a few, but you can see why I’m so passionate about not only ketones, but these monthly reboots!

The Reboot is done as a community. We grab the kits while available (JULY 5, TODAY, IS THE LAST DAY) and then all start together the night of the 15th. We support each other, encourage each other, and even have doctors and coaches that guide us along the way. I would love for our Reboot Community to grow! Are you in?

A Full Day of Eating Keto | Low Carb

When you first start thinking about a ketogenic way of eating you can get quickly overwhelmed with the idea of “What do I eat?” and after eating this way for awhile you may even get bored of the same old things over and over again.

In this video I document an entire day in my life and show you what I chose to ate while sticking to a keto/low carb way of eating. This lifestyle can be super easy if you don’t over think it and just go for it.

My Story | 6 Months on Ketones

Why? What’s the reasoning?

Those were the thoughts going on in my head this morning when I sat down and decided to go live on Facebook and share a little about my story. Why do I share about my lifestyle? What’s the reasoning for creating a website, youtube channel, IGTV channel?

Over the last 6 months I made some changes. And for me, they were major changes. Changes to how I lived, ate, displayed self control, functioned as a parent. It all started when I was sick of being stuck inside myself and decided to try a 10 Day Experience of something I had never heard of before, ketones.

I could write out the words I shared and try to describe the tone in which I said it. I could use flowery words to portray the passion and intention behind my voice but I think it’s better if you see it for yourself.

Options and opportunities. They are always around you, but are you willing to step forward and see where they can take you? I would love to connect with you and see how you can experience your own transformation by simply investing in your health and purpose.

How to Stay Keto at a BBQ Party

I love summer! I really do. It’s my fave season, until Fall comes around and then I’m happy to put on my boots, a sweater, and grab a pumpkin flavored coffee while walking through Harvest Festivals.

What do I love about summer? It’s social! I love being around people and I love the the parties & the BBQs, but how do we stick to our keto-ish lifestyle at these things? It’s actually super easy, and we (I) tend to overthink it.

This weekend I attended a BBQ and decided to shoot a short video of the food that was there and some tips to help us all stay successful as we strive to crush our goals and live out our purpose.

 

Some things to stick with: All the meat! Guacamole, veggies & dip, berries, meet and cheese board, olives, stuffed jalapeños, salad, sugar free toppings & sauces. Sparkling water. Grilled veggies.

Some things to steer clear of: Corn on the cob! Buns, macaroni salad, potato salad, chips, soda (!!!!!), beer, melons, sugary ice pops.

10 Minute Workouts I Love

I pay for a gym membership that I use do not use regularly. But I realized something recently; the reasons I don’t go may be legitimate but they don’t need to be final answers. How else can I accomplish the same thing but make it work in my life with the schedule I have, right now? I can work out from home and it doesn’t need to cost anything or take up an incredible amount of time! Some type of workout is better than no workout right?

I follow a keto lifestyle which means that regular cardio exercises aren’t really what I need to do. The best thing for this type of lifestyle is to do some weight training. Did you know that your own body weight counts as weight training… um, yeah. So I found a couple YouTube videos posted by Pamela RF that I think are just amazing.

She doesn’t spend any time talking, at all. She just starts doing the exercise, a 30 second clock starts to countdown, and you work out for 10 minutes. For real, I’ve felt more burn and experienced more sweat from these two videos than from anything else I have done in at least a year.
