So not long ago I found out about this app called Influenster from a friend. You connect your social profiles and answer questions about different topics regarding products. You basically say whether you like it or not. Has a place to leave reviews. And has some sort of Ebates program (which I HAVE NOT figured out yet, nor tried to figure out).

If chosen, you get sent free products to rate, review, and keep! The best part to me, was that the items are FULL SIZE, not samples. I didn’t really think I would ever get chosen to receive a box, but I did! Getting that box in the mail was beyond exciting. Since I was extremely pumped, the boxes are rare, and I love playing on youtube, I thought I’d make an unboxing video.

I received 5 full size products, well really I received 3 and my doggy received 2. Receiving free gifts in the mail is so much fun and as I’ve learned “gifts” is one of my love languages, so yes, I get joy from it, #noshame.

Crispy Chicken Thigh Recipe

Ever since I was a kid I absolutely loved friend chicken. Something about the crisp with the chicken was just amazing. Fast forward to adulthood where I’ve learned how fried food can be the worst for you 🙂

So, here’s a recipe for Crispy Baked Chicken Thighs, no breading included. This recipe is super easy and is ketogenic and low carb friendly! Bonus, my kids loved them & my husband even took cold leftovers to work and enjoyed them!

Recipe

  • 10 Chicken Thighs, skin on & bone-in
  • 4 TB Olive Oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic Powder
  • 21 Seasoning Salute, Trader Joe’s (Italian Seasoning Optional)
  • Cayenne Pepper, optional (not shown in video)

Preheat Oven to 400 degrees F. Pat the chicken dry with paper towels, and on a lined cooking tray coat them with olive oil, skin side up. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, & additional seasonings. Place in oven for about 60 minutes, longer if you like the skin very crispy and the chicken more well done.

Serve with sautéed veggies, mashed cauliflower, zucchini noodles, and more! Use whatever you have in the house and enjoy a simple and easy dinner night at home.

Whenever we start a new diet we’re told the same thing by people, “Once you stop you’ll gain all the weight back!” I’m sure it’s true for most diets and most people, but I’ve experienced something different with the keto way of eating!

Due to crazy summer life, amped up time at work, two productions, and just lack of planning, I’ve been off my keto way of eating for a few months. Guess what? I have not gained ANY of it back! How in the world does that happen? I contribute it to a few things:

  1. Keto helped me learn to make better choices
  2. I drink keto kreme with my coffee for breakfast each day
  3. A slight increase in physical activity
  4. Including ketones in my day, keeping me fuller longer
  5. My cravings have significantly changed.

Nutty in All The Right Ways

I have to share the exciting news with you! Nutty Ketoman Kreme is back for a limited time and I don’t want you to miss it. For the majority of my adult life now I start my day with a coffee, as most people do right? Well for the past 8 months or so I’ve removed all cream and sugar from my coffee and instead add a packet (sometimes 1/2 a packet) of Kreme instead. Why? ↓

So yeah, it has DNA repair, reduces joint pain and inflammation, strengthens hair & nails, and so many other things. BUT what does it taste like? I think the Nutty Ketoman tastes like an Italian Praline Cookie, basically an Italian pastry, a Christmas cookie, etc. And what Jersey girl wouldn’t love that right?

How to Make It:

Personally, I mix mine in a shaker bottle with hot black coffee. But you can also mix it with iced coffee, or blend ice & milk of your choice with it for a yummy dessert!
